Obituary

Ann Lang, of Freeville, passed away on May 23, 2022, at the age of 66.  Ann was born in Ithaca on December 29, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Edith (Adams) Lang.  Ann was employed at Cornell University’s Information Technologies department for over 35 years before retiring in early 2021.

Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanne Lang.  She is survived by her children, Shawn Lang (Jennifer) and Ashley Longenbach (Chris); sisters, Fran Calvani (Jim), Mary Mann (George), Janet Bullock (Paul), brother, Michael Lang (Val), and several nieces and nephews.  She was the proud grandmother to Abigail, Kaylie, Zachary, Kacie, and Kelsie.  Ann also leaves behind her two cats, Princess and Shadow.

Calling hours will be held at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden on June 18th from 10am until 12pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospicare & Palliative Care Services, 172 E. King Road, Ithaca, NY 14850, or to the SPCA of Tompkins County, 1640 Hanshaw Road, Ithaca, NY 14850.
