HARFORD – Claire Ann Annonson, 73, of Daisy Hollow Rd., Harford, died May 23, 2021 at the Cayuga Medical Center. Claire was born June 18, 1947 in Chicopee, MA to George E. and Helen McCarthy Harrison. She was a nursing assistant with Brightside in West Springfield, MA. Claire was a loyal Boston Red Sox fan and the best mom, grandma and friend anyone could ask for. She will be remembered for her sharp Irish wit, wonderful sense of humor, and beautiful smile. Claire is survived by many family members and friends, including stepson, Richard Jr (Carrie) Annonson of Milwaukee, WI, sons, Andrew Annonson (Tammy) of Harford, James Annonson of Slaterville and daughter, Jennifer (Jacob) Sampson of Severn, MD; grandchildren Arminda Bakos (Zeb Harris), Mikaila (Taylor) Barker, Michael Hubley, Alyssa Annonson, Keanin Annonson and Kenneth Annonson; Hope, Haley, Kaitlyn, Emma and Mara Sampson, and Janasia Yeargain; Ricardo Annonson and great-granddaughter Sophia Barker, and several nieces and nephews. Claire is also survived by her sister Madelyn (Rick) Bonasiak of Easthampton, MA, and best friend Judy Stevens of Harford. Claire was predeceased by her parents and her husband Richard Annonson.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 28, 2021 at the Perkins Funeral Home with Pastor James Owens, of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. Friends may call at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Donations in Claire's memory may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, P.O.
