Obituary

Douglas W. Stone III 62, passed away April 3, 2023 at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center in Cortland, NY after a short illness.

Her was born in Ithaca, NY on March 29, 1961. He worked for Cornell University for 33 years. Doug enjoyed spending time with his family, having BBQs, watching old movies with his mother and reading comic books.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley A. (Genung) Stone of Dryden, NY; sisters, Robin Biasillo of Maine, NY and Cheryl Miller (James Congdon) of Waltham, MA; brothers, Robert Stone and his wife Carol of Dryden, NY and David Stone and his wife Sue of Newfield, NY. There are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Doug was predeceased by his father, Douglas Walter Stone Jr.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 1 pm on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Calvary Cemetery, Ithaca, NY with Steve Lawrence as celebrant.

Perkins Funeral Home of Dryden is in charge of arrangements.
