Heath Woodruff Obituary

Heath Anthony Woodruff, 34 - a life taken far too soon; but what an adventurous life it was! Born March 18, 1985 and passed away November 4, 2019.

Heath had a smile that could light up the darkest room and a personality that could set a city on fire.

Despite his darkest times, Heath always had something positive and inspirational to say to others. He was always giving advice and hoping to see others succeed.

Heath was sassy; he was a diva, he knew what he wanted, he was stubborn and selfish at times...it’s who he was. And it’s how we all came to love and respect him. Regardless of his stubbornness and sometimes selfishness...his loved ones, friends and family alike, knew if push came to shove Heath would be there providing them with what they needed. no matter what that need looked like!

Heath lived an adventurous life. Traveling the country from Florida to Hawaii and everywhere in between, even adventuring out to Spain, not once, but twice...alone with little to no planning; and often with little to no money. Most days Heath liked to life in the fast lane, with the cruise control on without a care in the world!

Heath has a taste for expensive things, and often lived well above his means. But he remained humble, always remembering where he came from and when needed, wasn’t afraid to ask for help.

Heath also desired to be happy and successful. Something he diligently worked towards. Finding, along the way, that he was his own biggest critic, which often got in his way.

Heath was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at TC3. An achievement he was beyond proud of, as were all of his loved ones. Heath busted his butt and made his way into the very highly competitive nursing program at TC3. Another achievement he was over the moon about.

Heath befriended every single person he met. He touched so many more lives than he could have ever imagined! Despite his darkest days, I don’t believe there is a person who has a single bad thing to say about Heath! He was loved by sooooo many people!

Although Heath’s life was one cut too short, it was one well lived at times!

Heath will forever be in our hearts, on our minds and his spirit will live on!

Until we meet again, fly high, be at peace and know we will think of you every single day!

Heath is survived by his mother, whom was also his best friend, his biggest supporter and closest confidant, Shirley Galloway of Binghamton, NY. His foster mother whom he loved dearly, Arlene Mee of Jupiter, FL; siblings Terry Lynn Zindle of Greenville, NC; Terry Lee Cron of Binghamton, NY; Tara Galloway of Binghamton, NY; Keith Cron of Denver, CO; and Wayne Cron of Denver, CO; nieces and nephews who he adored greatly, Estavia Cron of Kirkwood, NY; Emalee Cron of Denver, CO; Dante Pultz of Endicott, NY; Urijah Zindle of Greenville, NC; Terry Swido of Endicott, NC and Nathen Haggerty of Endicott, NY; great niece, Adison Cron of Kirkwood, NY; many special aunts, Sandy (Joseph) VanWert of Conklin, NY; Brenda Bump of Binghamton, NY; Tina Bump of Binghamton, NY; many cousins, none other as special as Heather Lyon of Binghamton, NY; his grandmother, Eva Bump of Binghamton, NY; a very special friend, Oktay Sekercisoy Mahmutshahic.
