Obituary

Letha B. Sutton, 94 of Dryden passed away April 1st at the Groton Community Health Center.  She was born on June 1, 1928, the daughter of the late Floyd and Marjorie Bell Hatfield. Letha married William Sutton on September 4, 1948.  For many years she worked as a bookkeeper for Farm Credit in Ithaca.  Letha was a longtime member of Dryden United Methodist Church. 

Predeceased by her husband William in 1986, daughter Sharon Sutton-Snyder in 2003; 2nd husband Sibley Stewart in 2015 and daughter Corinne Lane in 2004, her brother Keith Hatfield. She is survived by her sons:  W. Mark (Cynthia) Sutton and Randy Stewart and Lanny Stewart; brother, Charlie Hatfield; grandchildren: Adam (Adrienne) Sutton, Jaclyn (Rick) Court and Jennifer Stewart, and 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call from 3-5 pm Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Perkins Funeral Home 55 W. Main Street, Dryden. Burial will be in Willow Glen Cemetery Memorial donation can be made to Dryden United Methodist Church or Southworth Library.  Online condolences can be left at www.perkinsfh.com
