Robert S. Oliver

Robert S. Oliver, age 78 of Enfield, New York passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at Cayuga Medical Center.

Born January 21, 1942 in Richford, NY he was the oldest of nine children born to the late Robert R. and Nettie Marshall Oliver. Bob was a 23 year US Army veteran serving three tours in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged as a Master Sergeant. His citations include the Bronze Star and Cross of Gallantry with Palm. Following his service he became the Owner of Kuma’s Night Club which he ran for over 40 years. He was a hard working man with a great sense of humor. He was a devoted husband to Callie Jo Oliver.  Alex-  Robert Oliver was a hero, who served 23 years in the military. People around him knew him for his kind heart, intelligent mind, and strength. He started small, living on a farm in Richford NY and he's moved up in the world to be a businessman and fair landlord.
Bob is survived by his ten children, Tami Beecham, Sandra Oliver, Leslie Oliver, Robert Oliver, Santos Oliver, Alexander Oliver, Chelsi Evans, Nykolas Oliver, Marinda Guthrie and Samantha Gallagher; he has 5 remaining siblings and several grandkids, great grandkids, great great grandkids, nieces and nephews and other extended family members.  In addition to his parents and three siblings, he was predeceased by his wife, Callie Jo Oliver in 2015. Marinda- May each tear and each fond memory be a note of love rising to meet you someday. Love ya  bunches .

Family and Friends are invited to call from 3-5 pm on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Perkins Funeral Home, 55 W. Main St., Dryden, NY. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.  Graveside services with Military Honors will be in the spring in Highland Cemetery, Richford, NY.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed  to Vietnam Veterans of America, 8719 Colesville Rd., Suite 100, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
