Timothy Stockholm Obituary

Timothy J. Stockholm, 58, of Newfield, NY went home to be with his Lord suddenly on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Cayuga Medical Center.

Born December 7, 1962 in Binghamton, NY he was the son of the late Frank M. and Sylvia Manwarren Stockholm and husband of the late Stanetta T. Stockholm who passed away June 11, 2020. Tim was a jack of all trades, doing construction, remodeling and painting. He was a hard working man that was loved by many. With a heart for his family and friends, he put the needs of others before his own.  A selfless and loving man who always gave all he had.  To his friends, he was family and to strangers, he was a friend they hadn’t yet met.  He battled cancer the way he lived his life, always fighting and never giving up. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who loved and lived for his family.

He will be eternally loved and missed by his children, Matthew Stockholm, Leah Stockholm, Amanda (Eric) Kitzi and Jessica (Justin) Naumov; his companion, Judith Coolbaugh; nine grandchildren; siblings, Kimberly (Rob) Stento, Frank Stockholm, Jr., Roger Stockholm and Pamela Spangenburg;  several nieces, nephews and cousins and other extended family members.

A Celebration of his life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Reach Out for Christ Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Reach Out for Christ Church, 318 Johnson Rd., Freeville, NY  13068 to purchase a van, to transport people, in his memory.
